Solar power is the cleanest, most reliable form of renewable energy available in the world. Based on the Global Market Outlook for Solar Power Report, by 2020, the global solar market will be 613 Gigawatts (GW) with an average annual increase of 22%. In addition, International Energy Agency projected that by 2050 (with solar power contributing 27%, compared with around 1% currently), solar power is anticipated to become the world’s largest source of electricity.
SEIA (Solar Energy Industries Association) states that California is leading the pack with projection of current installation to hit 22.65 GW of solar electricity in the next five years, which makes California a perfect spot for solar business-to-business events.
At the beginning of May 2017, SunSweep participated in the California Solar Power Expo, which had over 1,500 attendees and more than 50 exhibitors participated. We had conversation with lots of attendees and also made connections with many professionals and experts who work in the solar industry field. Through demonstrating SunSweep’s solar panel cleaning technology product, people were fascinated and realized the revolution that SunSweep can bring to the solar industry. Many people including solar panel manufacturers, panel accessory manufacturers, and commercial solar field operators, who currently use expensive services or devices for panel cleaning, are willing to use this technology to improve their solar power production and maximize revenue generation.
With solar energy fast becoming the dominant source of energy worldwide, our technology will only become more relevant and required. We truly believe the value that SunSweep can continually bring to the solar industry.
